January 5, 2019 – Almost two years after the former Green Pastures restaurant reopened as Mattie’s, a visit to the upstairs bar remains an inviting and warm spot to grab a cocktail or three.

Dark walls, wallpaper featuring a peacock pattern and hardwood floors the color of Kentucky bourbon have helped restore the classic beauty of the space, which is a popular spot in the historic Victorian farmhouse in Bouldin Creek. The renovation is the work of architecture firm Clayton & Little and interior designer Joel Mozersky.
