Originally from southeast Missouri, Jordan developed an early appreciation for the built environment while spending time in his grandmother’s historic house overlooking the Mississippi River. He earned bachelor’s degree in interior design from the University of Missouri-Columbia and his master’s degree in architecture from The University of Texas at Austin. Drawing from both his education and interests, Jordan conceptualizes how a building will work cohesively inside and out to create something engaging for those who use it. He believes that through continuous exploration, investigation, and collaboration, the best designs reveal themselves. Outside of the office, Jordan enjoys listening to good live music, playing not-so-good live music with his friends, scrambling around a golf course, reading science fiction, and spending time with his wife and two dogs.
