Emily Kaplan

NCIDQ, RID | Interior Designer

Emily is passionate about creating layered, rich interiors grounded in strong design concepts and believes the best work begins with understanding how clients use and experience space. At Clayton Korte, she brings a detail-oriented, methodical approach to interiors that ensures project documentation and deliverables are handled with care and consistency. Her ability to listen closely and communicate design ideas in accessible terms builds trust and ensures that the finished interiors reflect each client’s vision. She keeps clients and project partners engaged and informed throughout the process, and brings a collaborative spirit and a teaching mindset to her work with junior staff.

Originally from the Houston area, Emily earned her bachelor’s degree in Interior Design at The University of Texas at Austin. Austin has quickly become home, and in her spare time she enjoys playing pickleball, trying new restaurants, and spending as much time on the lake as possible.
