Kristen Brown

AIA, RID | Partner

Kristen brings a rare combination of design expertise and business acumen to her role as Partner at Clayton Korte. Since joining the firm, she has become a steady, shaping presence across architectural operations, governance, and financial oversight, someone who understands both the big picture and what it takes to keep projects moving on the ground.

Drawing on her background as an architect and project manager, Kristen has a talent for translating organizational goals into processes that actually work, monitoring financial performance, and sitting down with project managers to work through the challenges that inevitably arise. In addition to nearly a decade as a licensed architect, she holds licenses as an interior designer and brings hands-on experience as a construction manager, field project manager, and estimator. That depth of perspective gives her an intuitive sense of what it truly takes to deliver a project well.

A native Texan, Kristen earned bachelor’s and master’s degrees in architecture along with a master’s in business administration from Texas Tech University, where design thinking and business strategy first came together for her, a foundation she continues to build on today.
