Patrick Lucas

Project Designer

Patrick brings an artist’s sensibility and a keen attention to detail to everything he does at Clayton Korte. His experience spans urban projects, hospitality, and residential design, and his years practicing in San Antonio instilled a deep appreciation for Texas vernacular architecture and its capacity to connect the present to the past. That contextual attentiveness carries through to his broader approach to design. Patrick is thoughtful about the layered history and character of each place, and skilled at navigating the municipal processes and regulatory environments that shape what gets built. He builds relationships with ease, whether with clients, consultants, or colleagues, and communicates with the kind of clarity that keeps projects moving and partnerships strong.

A self-proclaimed nomad, Patrick earned his bachelor’s degree in architecture from SCAD before completing his master’s degree at The University of Texas at Austin. Away from his desk, he enjoys rock climbing, ceramics, skydiving, and relaxing by the water.
