Raquel Royal

Project Designer

Raquel has always been passionate about building community. She grew up with parents who were Tour Operators, which led her to experience colorful cultures, unique architecture, and beautiful communities during their various scouting trips throughout Latin America and Europe. Her global travels and early volunteer work with Habitat for Humanity and Amor Ministries inspired her to pursue a career path in architecture. Raquel earned her bachelor’s degree in architecture at the of University of Texas at Austin.

Her experiences have influenced her design approach to have a sensitivity to the people, culture, nature, and existing context and to provide meaningful human experiences.

Outside of the office, Raquel enjoys soaking up lots of sunshine on long bike rides, hikes, gardening, and live music.
