Stephen grew up exploring the backwoods of the Texas Hill Country and urban environments of Austin and San Antonio. His parents’ love of road trips sparked an intense interest in understanding the natural and built environment and the intersections between them. Having received his architectural education from the University of Texas at San Antonio, Stephen set roots to work toward contributing meaningful enhancements to the rich urban fabric of the city he loves. His work experience includes a variety of projects ranging from legacy residential to commercial hospitality. He tries in vain to maintain a fleet of rusty and inoperable classic cars, making stuff out of metal, and resurrecting a 1920s Craftsman Bungalow with his very patient wife.
