Seaholm Power Plant

Seaholm Power Plant has attained status as an iconic Austin landmark since its construction in two phases, in 1951 and 1955. In collaboration with STG Design, the firm’s primary role in its redevelopment is as Historic Consultant to the design team, guiding efforts of preservation, rehabilitation, selective partial demolition and pursuit of historic tax credits. Our scope also includes technical assessment of existing conditions and development of solutions for energy efficient-retrofit windows, waterproofing the entire structure and new roofing.
